Following the resounding success of our last Boilermaker Dinner, we are proud to unveil the next event, set to take place on Wednesday, 2nd of May at 7pm.
Our close neighbours and friends from the Young Henrys Brewery will be putting forward 5 iconic beers, starting with The Stayer (Midstrength Lager), moving on to the YH Real Ale (British Best Bitter), their ever-popular ‘Newtowner,’ (summer style Australian Pale Ale) the Summer Hop Ale, (American IPA) to a dark and mysterious limited release – an American Style Porter named ‘Motorcycle Oil.’
Our two featured whisky distilleries are GlenDronach, from the Scottish Highlands, and BenRiach, from the heart of Speyside. From the GlenDronach, we will be tasting the 12yr, the 18yr & the 21yr. From BenRiach the 16yr & the Tawny Port Cask 21yr. If you have never before tried these whiskys, you are in for a treat. The GlenDronach 12yr won Gold at the IWSC consecutively in 2015 & 2016, and the BenRiach 16yr took out Best Speyside Single Malt Whisky in the World in 2015.
To accompany the beer and whisky tastings, our award-winning Executive Chef, Mark Cukeric, will be pairing a three course dinner that will incorporate the beer and the whisky into the cooking process, creating a very distinct culinary experience.
