Batch & Buffalo Trace – A Boilermaker Dinner

Websters are set to celebrate the 4th of July in Style!
We have local Brewing Legends, Batch Brewing Company and the Buffalo Trace Bourbon family in the house for a very special evening, commemorating the best local beer & the finest American Whiskys around. It is the first event we have had with the Batch team, so we are very excited to have them involved.

We will be tasting 5 beers from Batch, 5 whiskys from Buffalo Trace, with a surprise hidden pairing we will announce on the night!
As always our awarded Executive Chef, Mark Cukeric will be pairing a 3 course dinner incorporating both the beer and whisky into the cooking process. Please read on below for the menu.

Throughout the evening, we will be taken on a guided tour through the brewing process, distillation, and we will get a chance to hear the rich history of the Buffalo Trace family, and what a huge impact Batch Brewing Co has had on the Australian Craft Beer market.

We are also very excited to announce we will be hosting BEER PONG after the dinner – A uniquely American sport which is sure to entertain & bring the laughs!

The Food and Drink Pairings:

On Arrival – Buffalo Trace & Just Beer

Starter – Eagle Rare 10yr & American Pale Ale
– Served with Dorito crumbed king prawn, Buffalo Trace pineapple & black bean salsa with habanero mayo

Entree – Rittenhouse Rye & Elsie The Milk Stout
– Served with Reuben slider, house-corned beef brisket, pickled cabbage & Rittenhouse Rye Russian dressing

Main – George T Stagg & Batch Limited Release (TBC)
USA waffles, buttermilk fried chicken, celeriac & apple slaw with a Buffalo Trace maple hot sauce

To Finish – Old Rip Van Winkle 12yr & Sweet Sweet Nugz
