Thanks to all who made it our to our sold out ‘Untamed Whiskys of the World’ event on Wednesday. It was an amazing evening, and what a great way to kick off a year of Websters events!

We are very excited to present our 2nd Dinner Event for the year, a Boilermaker Dinner featuring The GlenDronach & Modus Operandi.

We will be tasting 5 whiskys from a distillery nestled in the valley of Forgue, deep in Scotland’s East Highland hills near Aberdeenshire – The GlenDronach. This distillery won 5 awards at the International Wine & Spirits Competition in 2016, including Gold for both The GlenDronach 8yr ‘The Hielan’ & The GlenDronach 12yr Original. It also won Silver Outstanding for the 18yr expression ‘Allardice,’ and Silver for The GlenDronach Peated. Aside from these highly regarded awards, it also won Bronze for the 21yr Expression, ‘Parliament.’

On the craft beer front, we have Modus Operandi, a highly awarded Northern Beaches outfit who brew at Mona Vale. The vision of the Modus team was bringing fresh, live yeast from the US, and importing hops from every corner of the world to make some of Australia’s best beer. They recently picked up 5 Gold Awards for 3 of their Core Range Beers at the prestigious AIBA’s – Australian International Beer Awards.

To accompany the whiskys & beers, our multi-awarded Executive Chef Mark Cukeric will be pairing a 3 course dinner (Starter, Entree, Main) that will incorporate aspects of both the beer & whisky into your dining experience.
