Peated Malts of Distinction

On Wednesday 13th of September, Websters will host an intimate dinner featuring some of the world’s most exclusive whiskys.

The evening provides you with a rare chance to be guided through a collection of exceptional whiskys by The Exchange Whisky Ambassador, Michael Nouri. This exclusive range will be accompanied by a specially designed menu by Award Winning Executive Chef, Mark Cukeric.


We begin with Connemara, an Irish whisky awarded the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition Double Gold Medal, along with a collection of gold medals through the IWSC. Then on to the HIghlands with Ardmore Legacy, a lightly peated expression that won the Silver Medal last year at the IWSC. Following this we have the Bowmore 12 Year, also taking out Silver last year at the IWSC. The first of two Laphroaig products on offer will be the Laphroaig Select, winner this year’s Silver Medal for Best Islay Single Malt Whisky!

On the rare and limited release front, we have two very exclusive offerings:
Firstly, 1 of 100 bottles to hit our shores – The Bowmore Vault Edition, First Release. Only the finest hand selected ex-bourbon casks are used to create a refined liquid of greater depth. This whisky is the first release of a four part series.

Lastly, the highlight of the evening! The highly sought after cask strength expression of Laphroaig’s celebrated 25 Year Old. This whisky was awarded the “Best Cask Strength Single Malt” at the International Wine and Spirits Competition. This rare expression has spent a quarter of a century gently aging in a combination of Spanish Oloroso Sherry and American Ex-Bourbon casks.


Warm smoked Norwegian salmon w/ locally sourced Kiphler potatoes,
asparagus, pickled red onion, duck fat croutons & chopped free range egg

Overnight Laphroaig braised Riverina beef cheeks w/ roast beetroot purée,
confit garlic mash, dressed brocolini w/ a Bowmore Whisky jus

Warm chocolate pecan pie, vanilla bean ice cream & raspberry
w/ a chocolate wafer cigar
